A safe containing cash and jewellery was stolen from a caravan in Felixstowe.
The burglary happened between 1.20pm on Friday and 12.30am on Saturday in Carr Road.
A Suffolk police spokesman said the damaged safe and empty jewellery boxes were recovered from the beach nearby.
