A CASUALTY had to be taken to hospital tonight after a blaze broke out in the ground floor of a property in Sudbury.
Firefighters were called to Willow Close on Wednesday evening after receiving reports of a building fire with persons trapped.
Crews from Sudbury and Long Melford attended and found a fire on the ground floor of the building.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service confirmed one casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance. The injuries were not serious.
