Police want to identify the man pictured in connection with an alleged assault at an Ipswich electronics shop.

Their appeal comes after officers were called to reports of an assault at Currys Pc World at the Copdock Interchange retail park.

It is alleged that a man entered the store and attempted to take a Dyson vacuum cleaner.

Staff confronted the man and took the hoover away, but while leaving the store officers received reports that a one member of staff was pushed and another was head butted.

The alleged incident is said to have occurred on May 9 around 11.50am.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured should contact Ipswich police on 101, quoting reference 37/25324/18.
