A CCTV appeal has been made by police after counterfeit notes were used five times in an Ipswich supermarket.

A man used the faked notes to make small purchases throughout February and early March at a shop in Norwich Road.

He was given change in return.

Police want to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV images in connection with their enquiries.

Officers also believe a second man has assisted in the scam.

The man shown in the CCTV is white, approximately 6ft tall, had dark coloured hair, was clean shaven and was wearing a black parka coat.

If you can identify the man or have any other information which may help call police on 101 using reference number IC/15/992.
