A 46-YEAR-OLD woman is to appear in court next week accused of killing a Suffolk man in a car crash.

The woman, from Stanmore, Middlesex, is charged with death by dangerous driving following the tragedy which occurred on the M11 near Littlebury in Essex, on August 30 last year.

Father-of-two Alexander Palmer, 36, of Little Wratting, near Haverhill, was driving his Audi A4 when a Vauxhall Frontera crossed the carriageway and ploughed into his car.

Mr Palmer, a stockbroker with a ten-year-old son and eight-year-old daughter, died as a result of the collision.

The woman charged has not been named by Essex police, but will appear before Harlow magistrates on April 19.

Described as a retired carer, she has also been reported for driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
