A fancy dress disco is taking place in Ipswich next month to collect cash for an animal welfare charity.
Volunteers at the eastern branch of German Shepherd Dog Rescue are hiring Venue 77 in Fore Hamlet on December 8 for an evening of music and entertainment.
Competitions will also be taking place at the event, with one lucky guest receiving first prize for best fancy dress.
Funds raised will go directly to the charity and support dogs – including those who have been abandoned in the past – who are in desperate need of care.
Tickets cost £10 per adult, and the event is open to those who are 18 and over.
They can be bought from Sue Tyler, the GDSR eastern region fundraising events co-ordinator, over the next few weeks.
Those interested in buying tickets should call her on 07760300655 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org
