A FELIXSTOWE-based cheer leading squad was left jumping for joy after coming home with a number of trophies from the national championships.Team Spirit, which was formed two years ago, took part in the British Cheerleading Association (BCA) competitions in Telford, Shropshire, and took three places and a fourth.
A FELIXSTOWE-based cheer leading squad was left jumping for joy after coming home with a number of trophies from the national championships.
Team Spirit, which was formed two years ago, took part in the British Cheerleading Association (BCA) competitions in Telford, Shropshire, and took three places and a fourth.
The troupe was thrilled with the performance - especially as there were around 3,500 competitors in 244 teams all trying to win trophies.
Team Spirit has more than 40 boys and girls aged from six to 18, and they meet and train weekly in Felixstowe.
They have already performed in the Paul O'Grady TV talent show You've Got Talent and also at Her Majesty's Theatre, London.
The group wants to build on its success and is looking for a major sponsor. It is also available to perform at corporate events and functions.
