Young imaginations ran wild during a workshop in Ipswich this week as balloons were transformed into swords, animals and flowers.

Mr Bean Entertainments hosted the balloon-modelling class at Chantry Library on Monday for 24 children and their parents.

A spokesman for the library said: “Everyone had lots of fun and the library was full of people enjoying themselves.”

Meanwhile, Ipswich Library is calling on unemployed people in the town to take advantage of a number of free sessions next month designed to boost a CV and help participants find work.

The library is teaming up with Realise Futures to deliver six ‘Launch Pad’ classes in the Enterprise Hub on the second floor over two weeks from March 7-23.

The tutorials will cover essential subjects such as numeracy, literacy, digital skills and other skills.

To find out more or to book a place, visit Ipswich Library, in Northgate Street, or call: 01473 263810.
