Visitors to Christchurch Park were blasted with bubbles from coloured jets at yesterday’s launch of Bubble Rush.
The event is a 5k race which will see people run, walk, dance or skip around Christchurch Park on August 28 to raise money for St Elizabeth Hospice. Hundreds have registered so far.
The hospice’s events and challenges fundraiser Catherine Sheppard said: “Seeing the youngsters and adults getting involved in the launch was brilliant and gave all spectators a small taste of what to expect this summer.
“Everyone watching – and running through the bubbles for the photos – were so excited and enamoured by the bubbles, I’m sure we’ll see them all back on 28 August for the actual event”.
The frothy foam has been tested and is safe and not harmful to anyone.
