Chimney fire and bonfire near caravan tackled by crews in Suffolk

Firefighters tacked two separate blazes in Suffolk on Saturday evening.
One crew from Elmswell was first called to a chimney fire in Cedar Close, Bacton, at 4.42pm.
A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the “chimney was in use” at the time of the fire.
Details were limited, but there were no reports of anyone trapped or injured. The blaze had been put out and brought under control by 5.18pm.
A crew from Elmswell was called to reports of a bonfire which had “got out of control” in Rickinghall at 5.35pm.
The fire brigade spokesman said the fire was in danger of spreading to a nearby caravan but crews had managed to extinguish the fire before it reached the caravan. It was declared safe at 6.22pm.
