There were four births early today at Ipswich Hospital - the first being Susie Burgess, 24, and Graham Laws, 33, welcoming their newborn son into the world at 12.18am.
They were still undecided on a name for the 7lb 5oz baby boy but the engaged Bildeston couple were overjoyed by their wonderful Christmas gift.
It was a busy night and morning on the maternity unit at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds as seven mums gave birth on Christmas Day.
Among the new arrivals was Teri Grayson, weighing in at 6lb and 2oz, who had been due on January 10.
Mum, Nicola Taylor, 35, from Mildenhall, gave birth at 7.15am. She said: “It has been a long night and day but I'm thrilled.”
