ROY Chubby Brown has postponed his sell-out show at the Ipswich Regent due to ill health.
The controversial comic has rescheduled so that his vocal cords can fully recover after surgery and radiotherapy to cure his cancer.
He will now be at the Regent on January 24.
A spokeswoman from the Regent said: " Roy apologises but is sure all his fans will understand the situation and be happy that he will still be around in January."
Ticket holders will be able to keep their seats for the January performance. But if any ticket holders are not able to make the new date they can claim a full refund before Friday December 20 from Ipswich Arts and Entertainments box office, Princes Street, or St Helen's Street, Ipswich.
Or by returning their ticket with a covering note in the post to Ipswich Arts and Entertainments box office, PO Box 128, Ipswich, IP1 1DH.
