AN IPSWICH cinema, which was evacuated last night after smoke was seen coming from a light fitting, has reopened today.Firefighters were called to Cineworld, on Cardinal Park, Grafton Way, Ipswich, shortly before 8.30pm.
AN IPSWICH cinema, which was evacuated last night after smoke was seen coming from a light fitting, has reopened today.
Firefighters were called to Cineworld, on Cardinal Park, Grafton Way, Ipswich, shortly before 8.40pm yesterday.
Two crews from nearby Princes Street attended and on arrival found some smouldering on a light fitting.
The incident was dealt with by 9.10pm but the cinema was evacuated and closed as a precaution.
It is now open and films are showing as normal.
