AN Ipswich clairvoyant aims to make Christmas a brighter prospect for the homeless in the town this year.

Stephanie Carr is holding a clairvoyant evening at the Horley Spiritual Church in London Road on December 5. Tickets are £3 each.

At this time of year many people are busy thinking about their own family and the festivities which lay ahead. While this is a time for families it is also a time for good will to all men and sparing a thought for others could make the difference between happiness and misery this Christmas.

"I have held these evenings before, only a few weeks ago I held one for Marie Curie Cancer Fund and raised nearly £1,000. People seem to enjoy the evenings and I want to raise as much as possible to give these people a proper Christmas. So they can have some where to stay and food to eat.

"The church has been very good and given us the use of the church for free. Years a go a homeless man died and left them a sum of money and so it is an issue close to their hearts," said Stephanie.

For tickets contact Stephanie on Ipswich 832136.
