A SUFFOLK school is due to reopen after it was closed for the day following a power cut.
Power was interrupted for around 1,600 customers in Stowmarket and Stowupland at 5.41am this morning after a fault on a high voltage electricity network.
Students at Stowupland School were told lessons would not be held until the power supply was restored.
EDF Energy Networks engineers restored supplies to all customers by 10.10am allowing Stowupland School to reopen as usual tomorrow, Friday December 12.
The school's scheduled 1970s themed non-uniform day will still go ahead tomorrow to raise money for 30 acres of rainforest in Ecuador.
