The Suffolk singer songwriter has donated to Suffolk Family Carers, based in Claydon.

The items will go on sale in an online auction at the beginning of May and it is hoped that the auction will raise thousands of pounds.

Among the dozen or so items up for grabs will be hoodies and t-shirts with Ed’s distinctive paw-print logo on them.

Anna Haley, fundraiser at the charity said: “We are so happy that Ed Sheeran wants to help our charity raise vital funds and this is the perfect way - a Suffolk star donating his clothes that so many people will pay large sums to get their hands on. Of course, his wardrobes will have more space in them too, so everyone’s a winner.”

“We expect the online auction of his clothes in early May to cause quite a storm. Ed Sheeran is known and loved across the world, and so we could see bids being made from Toronto to Tokyo as well as Trimley St Mary.”
