Claydon High School has been given accreditation by a top education quality body for its work in education standards, improvements and best practice.
The school was issued the accreditation for transforming practice by the Schools, Students and Teachers network (SSAT), which uses a planning and self-review model to help schools make improvements and achieve their best.
To achieve the award, the school was reviewed by an independent SSAT moderator and another high-performing school. The moderator said the transforming practice accreditation was “a real credit to their team and the quality of the work that they are doing.”
Sarah Skinner, headteacher at Claydon High School, added: “We are delighted to have our hard work recognised by other high performing schools.
“My thanks goes to a dedicated team of staff.”
Claydon is currently rated Good by Ofsted.
