DON'T give up on the League of Friends!
That was the message today from the fundraiser cleared of stealing from the charity supported by Sir Bobby Robson.
In her first interview since being cleared by a jury at Ipswich Crown Court, Jane Symes told The Evening Star she is still working as a charity fundraiser from her new home outside Suffolk.
And she urged people to continue to support the Ipswich Hospital League of Friends, even though nearly £1,300 was lost through a misunderstanding.
Meanwhile the League's chairwoman, Patricia Salisbury, has also spoken about the court case - during which she was described as forgetful.
