SUFFOLK is in for a bracing Easter with temperatures set to plummet and forecasters raising the prospect of snow.

With the county still soggy from the weekend's heavy rain which led to areas of flooding, Evening Star weatherman Ken Blowers said colder weather was expected from the middle of this week.

He said: “The next thing coming is a cold air stream from the Arctic. That is going to hit East Anglia during the middle of the week onwards.

“It looks like a cold Easter coming up.

“Research has shown there is more chance of snow at Easter than Christmas.

“We're talking about cold, cold weather for the beginning of Easter.”
