The accident, involving a green Peugeot 106 and beige Toyota Corina, happened at the junction of Scrivener Drive with Shepherd Drive at 10.55am.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said one person was trapped in a vehicle following the accident but was released and found to be uninjured.
