Comedy actor John Inman dies

ARE You Being Served? star John Inman died in hospital early today.The 71-year-old actor, who played Mr Humphries in the 1970s comedy series, died in St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, west London, at 4am after being ill for some time, his manager Phil Dale said.

The 71-year-old actor, who played Mr Humphries in the 1970s comedy series, died in St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, west London, at 4am after being ill for some time, his manager Phil Dale said.

Mr Inman - famous for his catchphrase I'm Free' - suffered from hepatitis A and had been taken into hospital for tests after problems with his liver.
