Adults and youngsters across Ipswich have been showing their support for next month's Red Nose Day, as Comic Relief's DJ Boogie made a special visit.
The colourful character popped by Broke Hall Primary School this morning where the children were given this year’s series of noses, and revealed their fundraising activities planned for the big day on Friday, March 24.
The school’s deputy headteacher Ruth Fairs said: “We are going to wear silly socks and we always have a special assembly. We are organising a cake sale the children will hold themselves and activities in the classroom where they learn about children less fortunate than themselves.”
DJ Boogie then moved on to the town centre to encourage people to hold their own fundraisers, meeting people around the Cornhill, Giles Circus, Portman Road, University of Suffolk and the Waterfront.
