That’s what the Star is asking today, as it is revealed that Ipswich Town’s owner Marcus Evans’ business empire is worth £765million – making him richer than ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney.
The news comes as loyal supporters are becoming increasingly frustrated by poor performances on the pitch, failure to make the Championship play-offs, and what many see as a lack of ambition and investment.
On behalf of thousands of Town fans, we’re asking Mr Evans to invest a bigger slice of his massive fortune into bringing better quality players to Portman Road – thereby giving the team a fighting chance of making it to the Premier League.
The devoted Blue and White Army deserves so much better than some of the rubbish they’ve had to suffer this season. How about it, Marcus?
