COMMUTERS faced minor delays today after a train collided with a cow on the line at Palgrave, near Diss at 8.15am.
The 7.38am train from Norwich to Basingstoke killed the cow outright. No one was hurt in the incident.
Anglia Railways spokesman Peter Meades said: "The service was back to normal by around 9.30am so services did not suffer too much. There will be an inquiry in to this to find out why the cow was on the track and how this happened."
