A LOCAL graphic design team is celebrating a successful first year under new ownership, despite the economic downturn.

Paul Newman, who bought Alan Brannan Design from its founder 12 months ago, said that business was “buoyant” with people looking for new and exciting ways to promote their companies, products and services.

“Our portfolio of existing clients are convinced that using well-designed marketing material is essential and one area that should not be cut in these challenging times,” he said.

“This means finding innovative ideas that reach the required audience cost-effectively.”

Mr Newman and his team, based close to the A14 near Stowmarket, produce creative solutions for a wide range of businesses in sectors as diverse as surveying to software and ports to poultry.

They specialise in corporate identity, brochures, mailers, newsletters, websites and signage.

Mr Newman added: “Over the past year, we have seen the benefits of having long-term relationships with clients. We understand their businesses and what they are trying to achieve, which means we can work as a valuable extension of their team.

“In these challenging times, creativity is more important than ever and in competitive marketplaces, effective design means you really can get noticed.”
