POLICE are appealing for a 15-year-old boy who has gone missing in Cambridgeshire.

James Fisher was last seen at 10.30pm on Thursday at his home in Silverley, Ashley, near Newmarket.

He went to bed but his mother found him missing when she woke up at 6.30am the next day.

He did not take a jacket, his mobile phone or money and police fear he is not prepared for the cold.

He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe and a hooded top with 'Gap' written on the back.

James is described as white, 6ft tall, slim, with shoulder length straight brown hair and clean shaven.

Inspector Andy Harris said: “James has never gone missing before but we are concerned because he was in a rural area and do not believe he was dressed appropriately for the conditions.

“I would ask James to get in touch with his family or the police to let us know he is OK.”

Anyone who has any information or who has seen someone matching James' description should call Cambridgeshire Police on 0845 456 4564.
