Concerns mount for missing pensioner

POLICE are now gravely worried over the disappearance of a 75-year-old man who has not been seen for two days.Ivan Walton, of Purdis Farm, Ipswich, left his house at 11am yesterday to go mushroom picking at the heath, near Trinity Park, formerly the Suffolk Showground.

POLICE are now gravely worried over the disappearance of a 75-year-old man who has not been seen for two days.

Ivan Walton, of Purdis Farm, Ipswich, left his house at 11am yesterday to go mushroom picking at the heath, near Trinity Park, formerly the Suffolk Showground.

He had a dark-coloured, old fashioned racing bike with him and police are now urging people who find similar bikes abandoned to contact them.

Mr White is described as white, 5ft 9in, and of small build.

He is clean shaven, with short grey thinning hair and brown eyes.
