Concrete used to force open door and hair straighteners stolen during overnight raids in Felixstowe

Windows were smashed, concrete was used to break open a door to a business and a car was broken into in Felixstowe earlier this week sparking a police investigation.
Detectives are exploring possible links between the two burglaries, both of which happened overnight on Monday.
Raiders broke in to a business in Hamilton Road, smashing a back window before stealing cash and a silver Acer laptop between 5pm on Monday and 8pm on Tuesday.
Also between those times, a large concrete plinth was used to force open the door to a business in Gainsborough Road. Several boxes containing hair straighteners were taken from inside.
Police were also called to reports the passenger window of a green Volvo V40 parked in Ranelagh Road was smashed. They believe the criminal damage happened at around 10pm on Monday.
