A former Northgate Grammar School pupil who has become an experienced choir and orchestra conductor will be returning to Ipswich for a homecoming performance.

Adrian Brown was leader of the Trianon Symphony Orchestra during his time at the school, and on Saturday, April 22, will be returning to Ipswich to conduct both the choir and orchestra for its performance at St John The Baptist Church.

Mr Brown has previously made guest appearances with Trianon on several occasions, with a spokesman from Trianon saying it was “looking forward to welcoming him back”.

The concert will feature Sir Hubert Parry’s Blest Pair of Sirens, Mendelssohn’s Reformation Symphony and Messa di Gloria by Puccini.

Tickets are on sale now and can be reserved by calling Ipswich Entertainments on 01473 433100.
