DO you know these men? Suffolk Police have today released CCTV pictures of two men they would like to question in connection with the theft of containers from Felixstowe docks on Wednesday, February 13 and Tuesday, February 19.

The images show two drivers of lorries caught on CCTV – one on each day – and police need your help to trace them.

Two containers, one blue and the other believed to be silver in colour, were taken from Trinity Terminal between 2.15pm and 3.20pm on Wednesday, February 13. Between them they contained more than 2,300 cases of Absolut Vodka, each case containing 12 bottles.

These were: 880 cases of Absolut Vodka 40 per cent (75cl bottles), 110 cases of Absolut Kurant 40pc (75cl bottles), 22o cases of Absolut Mandrin 40pc (75cl bottles) 110 cases of Absolut Vodka 50pc (75cl bottles), 880 cases of Absolut Vodka 40pc (1 litre bottles ) and 110 cases of Absolut Peppar 40pc (75cl bottles).

The blue container bears the letters P&O on the side and the number OCLU 1458223, while the other container has P&O Nedlloyd on the side and bears the number PONU 1453440.

Then on Tuesday, February 19 another container was taken. This one was filled with spare parts for computer printers, and was taken from the Trinity Terminal between 10pm and 10.35pm. It bears the number HJCU7238307.

DC Elaine Palmer appealed for help in identifying the two men.

She said: "We would like to speak to these men in connection with the thefts and would appeal to anyone who thinks they may recognise them to give us a call. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered this type of vodka, who may know where the containers are or anyone with information about either incident."
