OVERNIGHT and weekend work to upgrade and improve traffic signals on the A14/A12 Copdock interchange continues today.
OVERNIGHT and weekend work to upgrade and improve traffic signals on the A14/A12 Copdock interchange continues today .
The work is weather permitting but, if it goes ahead, closures and diversions will be in place between 9pm and 5am overnight tonight.
The work is due to be completed early next month.
Traffic heading for Ipswich or Felixstowe on the A12 from the Colchester direction will be diverted along the A14 from the Copdock interchange to Sproughton, then back along the A14 to Copdock.
Traffic heading for Ipswich on the A14 from the Stowmarket direction will stay on the A14 to Sproughton, and will then be sent back along the A14 to Copdock.
A1214 traffic from Ipswich, heading towards Bury St Edmunds, will be diverted via the A14 to the Wherstead interchange, then back along the A14 towards Bury St Edmunds.
