POLICE and fire crews were called to the old Cranfield's building on the Ipswich Waterfront today after reports that a large piece of corrugated tin sheet was hanging off the roof.
A police spokeswoman said that when they received the call at lunch time the area was immediately sealed off from traffic so it could be made safe.
It was thought that the high winds had dislodged the tin. Firefighters climbed on to the top of the building to secure it.
