POLICE are appealing for information today after a good Samaritan disturbed a man and a woman as they beat up a cyclist in Ipswich.The 28-year-old victim was cycling home from work along Scrivener Road when the man and woman ran toward him from a red Volkswagen Golf, parked in a lay-by across the road.
POLICE are appealing for information today after a good Samaritan disturbed a man and a woman as they beat up a cyclist in Ipswich.
The 28-year-old victim was cycling home from work along Scrivener Road when the man and woman ran toward him from a red Volkswagen Golf, parked in a lay-by across the road.
The man punched the victim in the face, causing him to fall off his bike. Both the man and the woman then continued to punch and kick the victim.
A motorist saw the incident and revved his engine and sounded his horn and the offenders ran off and then made off in the Golf.
The male offender is described as white, about 27-years-old, 5ft 9in to 6ft 2in, with short brown hair or a shaved head and of slim build. He was wearing a light top and tan colour bottoms or jeans.
The woman is described as white, in her early to mid twenties, 5ft 4in, with long mousey brown or blonde hair.
She was wearing all white clothing.
