Couple hurt after car hits wall
AN elderly couple were injured when their car left the road and collided into a wall in Stowmarket.The pair, thought to be in their mid 60s, were taken to Ipswich Hospital after their D-reg Nissan Bluebird came to grief in Victoria Road.

AN elderly couple were injured when their car left the road and collided into a wall in Stowmarket.
The pair, thought to be in their mid 60s, were taken to Ipswich Hospital after their D-reg Nissan Bluebird came to grief in Victoria Road.
The man suffered chest and back pains while his passenger sustained an ankle injury.
Paramedics treated the man with oxygen following the accident which happened shortly before 2pm yesterday.
Eyewitness Mark Mayhew, who lives in Stowupland Road, said that he saw the car turn into Victoria Road when it appeared to lose control.

"I heard a very loud bang and saw the back of the car lift up," said the 35-year-old who was waiting at the nearby level crossing.
