Crash between bicycle and car in Bixley Road, Ipswich

A cyclist was taken to hospital this morning after she collided with a car.

Emergency services were called to Bixley Road, Ipswich, at 6.50am to reports of a crash involving a bicycle and a Seat Ibiza car.

A police spokesman said the cyclist, a woman aged in her 50s, was taken to Ipswich Hospital but was not seriously hurt.

The road was clear by 7.20am.
