ESSEX Police arrested a man on suspicion of drink driving after his car ended up on its side on the A12 today.The accident seven miles north of Colchester, happened on the London-bound carriageway near Dedham just after 7am.
ESSEX Police arrested a man on suspicion of drink driving after his car ended up on its side on the A12 today.
The accident seven miles north of Colchester, happened on the London-bound carriageway near Dedham just after 7am.
The car had been travelling away from Ipswich, and was near Stratford St Mary when the driver apparently lost control.
An Essex Police spokeswoman said the green Toyota Avensis car on the verge was righted by the fire service, and removed before 9.15am.
An investigation will follow and the driver who escaped the drama unharmed, was taken to a police station to be interviewed.
