A MAN has been taken to hospital with a life-changing leg injury today after a motorcycle accident.

A section of Clapgate Lane was closed after the crash involving the motorbike and a parked car on the Nacton Road end of the road at about 3.40pm yesterday. However, traffic was still able to travel in both directions along the road while police crash investigators analysed the scene.
The driver of the motorbike who is believed to be in his early 20s was taken to Ipswich Hospital with extremely serious injures to his leg after paramedics found him lying in the road.
A police spokesman described the injuries as “life-threatening”.
