A PENSIONER who was seriously injured in a road crash is today in a critical condition in West Suffolk Hospital.As later editions of the Evening Star reported yesterday , police are appealing for witnesses after the 75-year-old female driver was injured when her P-reg Rover collided with a white R-reg box van at the junction of Gipping Way and Station Road, Stowmarket, shortly after 6am.

A PENSIONER who was seriously injured in a road crash is today in a critical condition in West Suffolk Hospital.

As later editions of the Evening Star reported yesterday , police are appealing for witnesses after the 75-year-old female driver was injured when her P-reg Rover collided with a white R-reg box van at the junction of Gipping Way and Station Road, Stowmarket, shortly after 6am.

She and her two passengers, a 39-year-old male and 40-year-old female, were taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the van was treated at the scene by paramedics but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
