Crashes bring commuters to standstill

TRAFFIC on Suffolk's busiest road was brought to a grinding halt today following a horrific smash involving two lorries.

To add to the chaos, caused by the collision on the Stowmarket-bound carriageway at 5.

TRAFFIC on Suffolk's busiest road was brought to a grinding halt today following a horrific smash involving two lorries.

To add to the chaos, caused by the collision on the Stowmarket-bound carriageway at 5.30am, a car was also involved in a crash on the Ipswich-bound road.

This led to the closure of the A14 in both directions.
