TWO people have been taken to hospital after a two separate crashes on the A14.

The first accident happened around 5.40pm yesterday on the Felixstowe-bound carriageway of the road near Bramford.

Firefighters attended and cut a 55-year-old woman out of her car before she was taken to Ipswich Hospital with neck pains.

Then around 9.30pm a lorry and a car were involved in a smash also on the Felixstowe-bound carriageway of the road, near Claydon.

One man was taken to hospital with a head injury as a result.
