FIREFIGHTERS were called into action in Ipswich today after a car caught alight.
A crew from the Colchester Road headquarters were dispatched to Thurleston Lane shortly after 12.15am.
Wearing breathing apparatus and using a hose reel jet, firefighters were able to douse the flames within 15 minutes.
