SUFFOLK'S firefighters have been called to put out blazes in bins, undergrowth and kitchens in the past 24 hours.
At about 2pm yesterday they were called to a bin fire in Rope Walk, Ipswich where a small quantity of rubbish was found well alight but was under control by about 2.10pm.
Then at about 9.30pm a call was received to a kitchen fire in a home on Phillipps Road, Barham which was put out by about 10.20pm.
And at about 3.10am today firefighters went to some undergrowth that was alight in Gloster Road, Martlesham. The blaze was under control by about 5am.
