FIRE crews tackled a crop and stubble blaze in Ixworth today.The fire broke out near the A143 at about 1.20pm and engulfed ten acres of land and 200 yards of the road's verge.

The fire broke out near the A143 at about 1.20pm and engulfed ten acres of land and 200 yards of the road's verge.
Fire crews from Ixworth and Bury St Edmunds were called to the scene and used hose reels to put out the blaze.
