Cyclist injured after bus crash near Princes Street and Museum Street junction

A cyclist was injured in a crash involving a bus near Ipswich town centre yesterday.

The collision took place near the junction of Princes Street and Museum Street shortly after 4.30pm.

The cyclist, a man believed to be in his 50s, was assessed and treated at the scene by paramedics.

An ambulance spokesman said the man suffered injuries not thought to be serious and was not taken to hospital.

Both roads had fully re-opened by 5.15pm.

No arrests were made.
