Cyclist injured following crash in Nacton Road, Ipswich

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being involved in a crash with a car in Nacton Road this morning.

Ambulance crews were called to the scene, at the road’s junction with The Drift, at around 8.35am.

Police were also in attendance.

Paramedics treated one patient, a male cyclist who has now been taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, a spokeswoman for the ambulance service said.
