Cyclist involved in rush hour accident

A CYCLIST was taken to hospital early on Tuesday evening after being involved in an accident in Ipswich.Police and an ambulance were called to the junction of Bramford Road and Gatacre Road shortly after 5.

A CYCLIST was taken to hospital early on Tuesday evening after being involved in an accident in Ipswich.

Police and an ambulance were called to the junction of Bramford Road and Gatacre Road shortly after 5.20pm to attend to the accident involving a cycle and a Ford Escort.

The accident came after an afternoon of heavy rain and the cyclist was taken to Ipswich Hospital. The extent of the cyclists' injuries is not known.
