A CYCLIST has been knocked off his bike in Essex after a collision with a vehicle.
The accident happened at 4.40pm in Witham and emergency services went to the scene at Rickstones Road at its junction with Cressing Road.
The cyclist was taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford but his injuries were not thought to be serious.
The motorist involved in the accident has been reported to police for careless driving.
