A cyclist was injured after he was involved in a crash with a cement mixer near Rushmere Golf Club this morning.
Ambulance crews and police were called to the A1214’s junction with Bent Lane at around 7.50am, and the cyclist has since been taken to hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The road was blocked for a short time while recovery work was carried out, but has since reopened.
An East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust spokeswoman said: “An ambulance and ambulance officer attended and treated a man in his 20s with a knee injury.
“He was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.”
