The Foxhall Day Care Centre, in Parliament Road, is staging a festive party every day until Christmas Eve to get people in a seasonal mood.

Alan Woods, manager at the centre, said: “We raise money during the year and it goes towards our Christmas parties.

“The users all got a little Christmas present and they had a full Christmas lunch, with music entertainment, mince pies and Christmas cake.

“They absolutely loved it and had a great time.

“One lady said she wouldn't be seeing anyone on Christmas day so it was extra special.

“The staff enjoyed the atmosphere too. People get dressed up in their party clothes with women in nice dresses and men in dickie bows.”
