MOTORISTS faced long tailbacks on the A14 in Cambridgeshire today after a bus, a lorry and a car were in a collision.
MOTORISTS faced long tailbacks on the A14 in Cambridgeshire today after a bus, a lorry and a car were in a collision.
The road was closed after the accident, which happened at 8.20am, but reopened two hours later.
The accident involved a double-decker bus, an Audi AG and a heavy goods vehicle and happened between the junctions for Histon and Milton.
The bus collided with the car which then collided with the lorry.
Firefighters cut off the roof of the Audi.
The driver of the car, a 40-year-old man, suffered neck and back pain after the accident.

A broken down crane on the exit sliproad of the A14 at Milton and a four-vehicle accident on the A10, just north of Milton, added to the problems.
A police spokesman said the queues had gone by the early evening.
